Hi! If we were at School now, we would be quite hot! But we aren't , so....time for hypothesis and then, Second Conditional El Second Conditional se usa para expresar:
condiciones hipóteticas referidas al presente If I had a car, I would go to the beach (Si tuviera un coche, iría a la playa).
algo que es poco probable que ocurra. If it rained tomorrow, I would buy an umbrella
Para dar consejos ( me pongo en la situación de otro) If I were* you, I would never tell him the true.
Here you've got a complete explanation in English:
HAPPY TOWEL DAYGood morning! Another beautiful sunny day. The sky looks blue and the flowers and trees show all their spring force.
And
It's a wonderful world this we live in. So, talking about how to preserve it is a recurrent issue every year in our subject.
What dangers threaten the Earth? And what can we do to stop them?
Lately we humans are feeling frightened because of this new virus, and we all are trying to take action so as to stop it and searching for a vaccine so that it is not a risk for us. But for our Planet, human behaviour is sometimes as danderous as a diseasease. The good news is that we know many things we can do to stop it.
Today we'll focus on global warming. First, let's see something about this phenomenon:
Now, what can we do to help?
If you run out of ideas, here there's a link to some very clear tips for kids from the Natural History Museum of America.
Good morning!
This week we'll talk about some very interesting issues related to the environment, and we'll review two very useful grammar points: the comparison of adjetives and 2nd conditional.
For the time being, we'll start comparing in a very easy and funny way.
Good Morning!
Did you have a nice weekend?
Did you do anything special?
Yesterday evening I met two of you by chance around the neighbourhood. I was very happy to see you, although I couldn't see your beautiful faces properly because of the masks.
This week we are going to review unit 4, both in 2nd and 3rd of ESO. It implies
money (2nd ESO)
Life events (3rd)
Future with will, be going to and present continuous ( both)
Dialogues about shopping (2nd ESO)
Can, could, will be able.uses of get and invitations.(3rd)
So, today, have a look at unit 4 in your books and/or the grammar and vocabulary review I left on Material.
For a fresher review, and some listening practice, here you've got a video.
Hi! A new Weekend ahead, but this time we'll be allowed to meet our friends. Please, be careful, respect social distance and wear your masks.
Have a nice weekend!
Cloudy day again...Let's not let this spoil the fun.
Today there will be specific classes for students of 2nd ESO C ( G1, G2, G3) and 3rd of ESO (G1).
We will be using our worksheets for lessons 0, 1, 2 and 3, but we'll also do some extra exercises.
For those of you who want to get some inspiration and practice a little bit their listening, I'll leave you here two videos related to the books you are reading and playing.
And for those of you who are in a bit of a mess with the plot of DR JEKYLL AND MR HYDE, here you've got some help too.
Good morning, dear ones!
I hope you had a nice weekend. Step by step we're coming back to "normality", and we can do some of the things that we enjoy, like training. I've enjoyed a lot jogging lately, and I've met some students in the neighbourhood. Soon you'll be playing football and hanging up around. Just a little bit more of patience!
Well, that's enough for a cloudy Monday. See you tomorrow!
This week I think we have not had much pressure. Relax and get strong for next week: We'll have some virtual classes and you'll have to become actors and actresses.
Tonight, I'm gonna have myself a real good time I feel alive and the world I'll turn it inside out, yeah ( me siento vivo y voy a poner el mundo patas arriba) And floating around in ecstasy So don't stop me now don't stop me 'Cause I'm having a good time, having a good time
I'm a shooting star, leaping through the sky ( soy una estrella fugaz brincando en el cielo)
Like a tiger defying the laws of gravity I'm a racing car, passing by like Lady Godiva * I'm gonna go, go, go There's no stopping me
I'm burnin' through the sky, yeah Two hundred degrees That's why they call me Mister Fahrenheit ** I'm traveling at the speed of light I wanna make a supersonic man out of you
Don't stop me now, I'm having such a good time I'm having a ball ( me lo estoy pasando de lujo) Don't stop me now If you wanna have a good time, just give me a call Don't stop me now ('cause I'm having a good time) Don't stop me…
Time to Action!!!!
From now onwards you'll have to prepare the videos of the "plays" from the books that we are reading. Some of you have already begun. It's not complicated at all, what you have to do is very simple.
Some of you have just a natural talent for shows, but I Know that many of you will do a bit lower. It doesn't matter. What's important is that you experience the story, that you enjoy it, and that you improve your skills.
Here you have an example of a top performance of chapter 1. Congratulations, Isabel.
How do you feel now that you can go out for a few hours every day?
What do you miss most?
Today I have got up at 8.00. Last night I went to bed at 12, but I was reading for one hour or so, so I got asleep at aroung 1. I have just had breakfast, I've had a coffee and a toast with butter. I know olive oil is healthier, but sometimes I like some variation.
Right now, I'm still wearing my pijamas, but I will get dressed in a few minutes. I am going to put on some pants and a Tshirt. And my sandals! I'm so happy to see my toes again, it's like a kind of freedom!
I'm working at my computer in my dinning room. I have got a studio with all my books and resources there, but the wifi connection is very slow in that room, so I prefer working here.
After sitting down all day, I'm very happy when I go out to do exercise. I try to go in the morning, at nine, because it's cooler and there are less people. However, sometimes like today, when I get up later, I cant't go in the morning before the curfew for sportpeople, so I will run in the evening today. I always run along Kansas City Aveneu.
Yesterday I went shopping because we needed some tnings, but I only go once a week to the supermarket.
Now I feel more optimistic, because being locked made me a bit depressed, but I miss a lot having my regular routine: going to the School, meeting my students and colleagues, and, most of all, huging and kissing my parents and brothers and sisters. But I´m not in a hurry, we'll do it when it's safe, and right now not touching each other is the best way to express our love.
What about you? Write a similar text answering the questions on top using the different tenses we have reviwed so far.
Hi!
I'm trying to digest the contents of the instructions I got from the School yesterday, and adapting the subject to every specific case according to them.
Since you already have your tasks for this week, just ask me through classroom, through comments on this blog, or my email any questions you have.
One week since we last met!
I hope you enjoyed last break. Now, the last part of the school year is ahead, and we must really try hard so as not to lose the pace. It's difficult, I know: the weather is getting hot, days are very long, birds sing, and we can finally walk or exercise in the street after so long!
Anyway, let's think that we only have a small part of the effort to do, and schoolwork will be over just as we are able to hang out again with friends.
Y seguimos con nuestras lecturas: The Prince and the Pauper, Chapters 5 and 6, and Dr Jekyll and Mr Hyde, chapters 4 and 5.
This is to long for a Tuesday! I'll be at 11.15 to answer your questions on Instagram and we'll sing
"Don't stop me now", by Queen.
