TRADITIONS
Cadíz has been a principal home port of the Spanish Navy since the
accession of the Spanish Bourbons in the 18th century. The first
spanish constitucion was there in 1812 “La Pepa”.Cádiz is sometimes counted as
the most ancient city still standing in Western Europe.
The most famous tradition is the carnavals, they celebrate all the years
after christmas and they have too a theatre who they do “comparsas” it's like
funny songs about it.

ReplyDeleteThey forgot talking about the Museum of Cádiz. It is in the Mine Square. It was built in the XIX century by Juan Daura. It is neoclassical. The museum has got three sections: archeology, art and etnography. There are paints and sculptures of Zurbarán, Salvador Viniegra and Adolf Ulrik Wertmüller.

ReplyDeleteThey should speak about the beautiful beaches of Cádiz.For example:Victoria,Costilla and the beaches of Tarifa are amazing and espectacular in this you can windsurfing,surfing,sanorkelling and also sunbathing.

ReplyDeleteThere are other tradicional parties in Cádiz like 'La Inmaculada' and popular parties like 'La Vendimia'. There are famous sculptors to like 'Lorenzo Cherbuy Jiménez'.(Marina H.S)
