Hi, darlings!
Yesterday we worked on pg 65, and did some translation. I will correct the exercises today during the direct at 12.00. I'm still trying to upload the listenings to the classrroom but this is getting a bit difficult.
Today we're focussing on the Social Awareness section., PG 66. It is a topic we all should be interested in , since it deals with our education.
What are your plans? Do you intend to keep on studying at High School until you're 18?
Would you like to study vocational training? Enjoy this section, and see you at 12!
PARA TODA LA CLASE, INCLUÍDO PMAR
PG 66, exercises 1, 2, 3 and 4.
Make a list of the vocabulary you don't know. I'll give you more clues later.
ok, it is essential that you know the difference between Academic and Vocational education (formación académica, el instituto para luego ir a la universidad, y formación profesional).
pg66, A Read carefully the fact box and try and make calculations. For example, if 88% 16- year-olds stay in education, what percentage of teenagers abandone school? And what do they do then?
pg 66 B. Explain in English the meaning of these words:
apprenticeship:
regret:
qualifications:
capable:
careers advisor.
pg 66 C. Finally, Write 5 original questions whose answer is in the text. Write them in the comments. remember to sing your comments, ( eg. A. B. G. G. 3rd B) and that they won't appear until tomorrow.
